Terms and Conditions

		Article 1 (Purpose)
		The purpose of this Policy is to regulate the terms and conditions and procedures of all kinds of information services (hereinafter referred as “service”) provided in the websites of LEADWITH (hereinafter referred as “the agency”).

		Article 2 (Effect and Modification of Policy)
		① This policy shall take effect upon the agreement of the member at the stage of membership registration..

		② The agency may modify the policy for the changes in management of the information and other causes and the modified policy shall take effect by being disclosed in the screen of the internet service or in other way.

		Article 3 (Regulation Other Than This Policy)
		Matters not specified in this policy and specified in other related act shall follow such regulation.

		Article 4 (Definitions)
		The definitions of terms used in this Act shall be as follows:
		1. Members: Persons who are issued with membership ID as the request for the membership service has been approved by the agency.
		2. Member ID: Combination of alphabetic characters and numbers selected by the user and granted by the agency for the user identification and use of service.
		3. Password: Combination of alphabetic characters and numbers selected by the user to be used as a password after confirmation of accordance of the user and member ID.
		4. Deregistration: Declaration of will by the agency or the user to terminate the contract after launch of the service.

		Article 5 (Information Service Membership Registration)
		① Membership registration shall become effective upon approval of the registration of the user by the agency and the agreement of the terms and conditions by the user.
		② Persons who wish to register as a member of the agency and use the services provided by the agency shall provide personal information required by the agency.
		③ Upon the approval of the registration, the agency shall notify requirements including member ID, password, and other information.
		④ The agency may not approve registration request of the user in cases of the following.
		1. When registration is in the name of another person
		2. When the registration is not in the real name
		3. When the registration contains false information
		4. When the registration is made in order to disturb of social tranquility and good order or public morals

		Article 6 (Obligation of the Agency)
		① The agency shall provide continuous and stable service (open year round, 24 hours a day) unless any particular business or technical failure. However, when there is any particular reason including natural disaster and system maintenance, the agency shall notify the members in advance and limit the service.
		② The agency shall allow the member to start using the service on the date of membership registration unless any particular reason exists.
		③ The agency shall go through proper process on the opinion raised by the member in its board and when certain period of time is required for the procedure, the agency shall notify the member of the reason and schedule of the procedure.
		④ The agency shall thoroughly secure the information of the member and use it only to provide quality service or to improve it, and shall not transfer the information to other organizations or individuals for other purposes except for the request from public institutions for any penal or public purpose, for academic purpose, or for the statistical data that cannot identify individuals.

		Article 7 (Obligation of Member)
		① The member shall be responsible for management of ID and password.
		② The member shall agree to receive e-mail of the agency as a part of the service.
		③ The member shall notify the agency when his/her ID is used fraudulently.
		④ The member shall obey this policy and regulations in related acts.

		Article 8 (Deregistration and Restriction of Use)
		① The member may deregister and delete his/her information except opinion and replies he/she made in the board when he/she wishes to deregister.
		② The agency shall automatically deregister the member after confirming the registration record and notify the member via e-mail and even the previous user cannot use deregistered ID.
		③ The agency may deregister the member of restrict use of service for a certain period of time without prior notice in cases as follows:
		1. Disturbance of public order and morals
		2. Any matters related to the crime
		3. Planning to use or using the service in a way to hamper national interest or social good
		4. Theft of other person’s ID or password
		5. Defamation of or disadvantage to others
		6. Dual registration of one user in another ID
		7. Obstruction of healthy use of the service including causing damage to the service
		8. Violation of terms and conditions of the agency or other related acts
		④ In the case of restriction of service, the agency shall determine the date, period, and reason and notify the member or his/her agent in writing or via other measures including telephone call. However, when there is an urgent need, the agency may restrict use of service without such procedure.
		⑤ The member or agent notified of restriction of service pursuant to Article 7 (4) and has an objection to the restriction may raise an objection.
		⑥ The agency may cancel the restriction of use only after confirming the removal of the particular reason for the restriction.

		Article 9 (Management of Post of Members)
		The agency may delete posts or registration of the members in the service without prior notification if they contain matters as follows:
		1. Slander of another person or defamation of another individual or organization
		2. Offenses against public order and morals
		3. Acts corresponding criminal acts
		4. Violation of another person’s rights including copyright
		5. Matters that are not subjects of registration
		6. Violation of terms and conditions of the agency or other related acts

		Article 10 (Management of Post and Copyright)
		① The member and the agency shall jointly own the copyright of the posts the member registered in the service.
		② The member shall not use the service for commercial activities or use them in any unapproved business unless approved by the agency.

		Appendix
		This policy takes effect on June 13, 2022
	

Privacy Policy Guide

			a.	Any information used for identifying individuals that is acquired by IACE will be stored, used and/or analyzed only within the scope of IACE activities, and in accordance with IACE’s policy and regulations.  

			b.	IACE may provide and disclose the collected information aforesaid to a third party in accordance with IACE’s policy and regulations, with the relevant laws of Korea, or upon the request from the Government of Korea.   

			c.	IACE reserves the right to use all the documents or products produced by participants for the purpose of the Training/Fellowship Program including their duplication, translation, distribution, and/or posting on websites (IACE’s website and/or other websites related to Korean ODA). 

			d.	IACE takes measures required to prevent leakage, loss, or destruction of acquired information. Should you wish to inquire further about IACE’s privacy policy and personal information management, please contact the program manager via the contact information provided in your Course Information (CI). 

			e.	If you do not approve of the above conditions, you may also refuse to agree. However, please be informed that there may be limitations to your participation to the IACE Training/Fellowship Program, if you do not agree with the above conditions.
		

Agreement on Collection and Use of Personal Data

IACE collects and uses the participants’ Personal Information; and is able to provide such information for a third party in accordance with IACE policy and regulations.
  • Personal Information Collected : name, date of birth, sex, nationality, contact information, employment status, career and educational record
  • Purpose: implementation and promotion of the IACE Training/Fellowship Program, identification of participants, record keeping, on/offline alumni database management, supporting IACE’s activities, and strengthening the partnership between Korea and Partner Countries
  • Retention Period : 1 year for hard copy / 20 years for soft copy
  • Third Parties: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Science and ICT and their affiliated organizations.
If you do not approve our collection and use of your personal information, you may also refuse to agree. However, you may have limited support from IACE regarding visa issuance, immigration management, flight and accommodation arrangement, IACE Club activities, insurance and medical service.

Agreement on Collection and Use of Sensitive Information

IACE collects and uses the participants’ Sensitive Information; and is able to provide such information for a third party in accordance with IACE’s policy and regulations.
  • Sensitive Information Collected : religion, medical information
  • Purpose: implementation and organization of the IACE Training/Fellowship Program in consideration of participants’ religious characteristics, screening of participants’ health condition to participate in IACE Training/Fellowship Program, insurance and medical service
  • Retention Period : 1 year for hard copy / 20 years for soft copy
  • Third Parties: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Science and ICT and their affiliated organizations.
If you do not approve our collection and use of your personal information, you may also refuse to agree. However, you may have limited support from IACE regarding visa issuance, immigration management, flight and accommodation arrangement, IACE Club activities, insurance and medical service.

Agreement on Collection and Use of Unique Identifying Information

IACE collects and uses the participants’ Unique Identifying Information; and is able to provide such information for a third party in accordance with IACE policy and regulations.
  • Unique Identifying Information Collected : passport number, alien registration number
  • Purpose: visa issuance, immigration management, flight and accommodation arrangement, insurance and medical service
  • Retention Period : 5 days after the accomplishment of the purpose specified above
  • Third Parties: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Science and ICT and their affiliated organizations.
If you do not approve our collection and use of your unique identifying information, you may also refuse to agree. However, you may have limited support from IACE regarding visa issuance, immigration management, flight and accommodation arrangement, insurance and medical service.
